Scott V. Nicol, Ed.D., is an experienced educational leader and former superintendent of Ellington Public Schools in Connecticut. During his tenure as superintendent, Dr. Nicol led a district serving over 2,600 students across five schools, managing a budget exceeding $48 million. His leadership emphasized strategic planning, resource optimization, and maintaining strong academic outcomes while operating with below-median per-pupil spending. He is also recognized for developing initiatives focused on civil discourse and community engagement, including the “Seeds of Civility” framework, which received the Governor M. Jodi Rell Civility Award.
